Lovable is one of the best AI app builders available. It is also priced in credits, and credits are hard to picture until you have used them. This guide turns them into something you can budget for.

Every plan includes unlimited team members: you pay for credits, not seats. Every plan except Enterprise also gets 20 Cloud credits and 4 AI credits a month for hosting and AI features inside your app.
What each plan adds
- Every plan, including Free: private projects and Git sync with GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket.
- Pro and above: code download, your own domain, no Lovable badge, user roles.
- Business and above: single sign-on, role-based access, and your data excluded from AI training by default.
How Credits Work
A credit is a unit of AI work. Simple requests cost less than one; bigger ones cost more. Lovable's own examples:

So Pro's 100 credits a month buys roughly 50 to 200 changes, depending on how big they are. A small app might be built in a few dozen requests. A real product, with lots of back-and-forth, can use several hundred.
Rollover and top-ups
- Monthly credits roll over on Pro and Business. On monthly billing they last two months; on yearly billing, until a month after your year ends.
- Daily credits do not roll over.
- Top-ups: $15 for 50 credits on Pro, $30 for 50 on Business. They last 12 months.
Student discount
Students and teachers get 50% off Pro 100 on monthly billing for up to 12 months, verified with an academic email.
What It Really Costs
- Trying it out: free. 5 credits a day is enough to build something small and see whether Lovable suits you.
- A small business tool: Pro 100 at $25 a month, or $21 paid yearly. Add a top-up in a busy month.
- A serious product: expect to move up to Pro 200 ($50) or more while you are building, then drop back once it is running.
Our advice: stay on monthly billing while you are building, because your credit needs will change. Switch to yearly once you know your steady usage.

Is Lovable Worth the Money?
For most people who want a polished web app without coding, yes. Its results are among the best, and Git sync on every plan means you are never locked in. The main reasons to look elsewhere are cost, if your project is simple, and what is included, if you also want email and phone support in one place.
