Status on 1 October 2026: no 2026 deals announced yet
Black Friday is 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday 30 November. We will update this page as each deal goes live. Until then, here is what each company offered before, so you know what to expect and whether to wait.
Black Friday is the best time of year to buy most WordPress tools. But not every "deal" is a good one: some cut the first year and then charge full price, and some are no better than the normal offer. This page shows what each company has done before and what to watch for.

WPX: Extra Free Months
WPX does not discount the price; it adds free months. In 2023, 2024 and 2025 a one-year plan came with 4 months free instead of the usual 2, so 16 months for the price of 12. On the Business plan ($299.90 a year) that is about $18.74 a month over 16 months. After the term, WPX renews at its normal price, with no jump.
The 2025 deal ran from 24 November to 8 December and was for new customers only. Full history: WPX Black Friday.
Not waiting? WPX's normal deal is already good
Two months free on a one-year plan, up to 20 on five years, and malware removal, email and site moves included. 30 days to change your mind.

SiteGround: A Cheaper First Year
SiteGround has cut its first-year prices every Black Friday. In the US in 2025 that meant StartUp at $1.99 a month and GrowBig at $3.99, against the usual $2.99 and $4.99.
Two things to know. First, it is a first-year discount: the plan then renews at SiteGround's normal price ($29.99 a month for GrowBig in the US, £23.99 plus VAT in the UK). Second, in the UK the 2024 and 2025 Black Friday prices were the same as SiteGround's normal UK first-year prices, so UK buyers may have nothing to gain by waiting. Divi: The Biggest Discount of the Year
Elegant Themes' Black Friday sale is reliably its largest, and has historically been around 20–25% off, including the $249 lifetime licence. Because lifetime is a one-off payment, a Black Friday discount on it is a permanent saving, not just a cheaper first year. Our link gives 10% off Divi every day of the year in the meantime. Coderick AI: Try It Free Now
SiteGround's AI app builder only launched in December 2025, so it has no Black Friday history. You do not need to wait to try it: Coderick AI has a 14-day free trial with no card. See our Coderick review.
How to Tell a Good Deal From a Bad One
- Look at year two. A big first-year discount followed by a big renewal can cost more over three years than a smaller deal with a steady price.
- Compare with the normal offer. Some Black Friday prices are no better than what is available on an ordinary day.
- Check the refund terms. Some companies change refund rules during sales.
- Prefer one-off payments. A discount on a lifetime licence lasts for ever.
- Do not buy what you will not use. A tool you never set up is not a saving.
Should You Wait?
- Wait if your current set-up is fine, the sale is a few weeks away, and you are buying a one-year hosting plan or a Divi lifetime licence.
- Do not wait if your site is slow, down or hacked now, or if you are mid-project. A few weeks of lost visitors or stalled work costs more than the extra discount saves.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. Many WordPress companies start their deals earlier in November and run them into early December.
What are the best WordPress Black Friday deals?
Going by past years: WPX has given 4 months free on a one-year plan instead of the usual 2; SiteGround's US site has cut first-year prices to $1.99 to $5.99 a month; and Elegant Themes has taken around 20 to 25% off Divi, including the lifetime licence. As of 1 October 2026, none has announced its 2026 deal.
Are Black Friday hosting deals worth it?
Often, but read what happens after the deal. SiteGround's discount is on the first year only, then the normal renewal price applies. WPX's deal adds free months and then renews at its normal price. Divi's lifetime licence is a one-off payment, so a discount on it is permanent.
Should I wait for Black Friday to buy hosting?
If your current hosting is fine and Black Friday is a few weeks away, it can be worth waiting. If your site is slow, down or hacked now, do not wait: lost visitors cost more than the discount saves. In the UK, SiteGround's Black Friday prices have matched its normal first-year prices, so there may be nothing to gain.
Do Black Friday deals apply to existing customers?
Usually not for hosting, which tends to be for new accounts. WPX gave existing customers early access in 2023 and 2024 but limited 2025 to new customers. Check each company's terms when the sale opens.
