Status on 1 October 2026: not announced yet

SiteGround has not announced its 2026 Black Friday sale. Going by the last three years, expect it in November, possibly early in the month. We will update this page when it is live.

SiteGround runs one of the most reliable Black Friday sales in hosting. Every year for the last three it has taken its already-low first-year prices and cut them further.

What SiteGround Offered at Black Friday Before

US prices per month for the first year, from archived copies of siteground.com:

Plan Normal intro BF 2023 BF 2024 BF 2025
StartUp$2.99$1.99$1.99$1.99
GrowBig$4.99$3.99Not confirmed$3.99
GoGeek$7.99$5.99Not confirmed$5.99

"Normal intro" is SiteGround's usual first-year price today. In 2023 SiteGround called the deal 85% off; in 2024 and 2025 it was 88% off StartUp and 86% off the bigger plans. Every deal needed the first 12 months paid up front.

In the UK, the price did not change

This surprised us. On siteground.co.uk, the 2024 and 2025 Black Friday prices were £1.99, £3.99 and £5.99 a month before VAT. Those are exactly the same as SiteGround's normal UK first-year prices today. So for UK buyers, Black Friday has not been cheaper than buying on an ordinary day. The big Black Friday cut has been on the US site.

When the Sale Has Run

  • 2023: an early "secret" deal was live by 6 November. Sale prices were on the pricing page by 20 November, with a Cyber Monday extension into early December.
  • 2024: from about 23 November to 3 December.
  • 2025: from early November to early December.

The Catch: It Is a First-Year Discount

The Black Friday price only applies to your first term. After that, the plan renews at SiteGround's full price, exactly as it would have without the sale. In the US that is $17.99, $29.99 and $44.99 a month; in the UK £13.99, £23.99 and £34.99 before VAT.

So Black Friday saves you money in year one, not every year. That is still worth having. Just diary the renewal date the day you buy. Our SiteGround pricing guide shows what three years really costs.

Not waiting for Black Friday?

SiteGround's normal first-year prices are already low: GrowBig is £3.99 a month in the UK. Phone support, staging, unlimited sites and free AI tools.

Put the renewal date in your diary. The price goes up after the first term.

Which Plan to Buy at Black Friday

GrowBig. The cheapest plan looks like the bargain, but it holds one site and has no staging. GrowBig gives you unlimited sites, five times the storage, staging and on-demand backups, and at sale prices it has been only $2 a month more than StartUp. Those features are still useful long after the sale is forgotten.

Should You Wait?

Wait if:

  • You are planning ahead and your current hosting is fine.
  • You are in the US, where the sale has cut the normal first-year price by about a third.

Do not wait if:

  • Your site is slow, down or hacked now. Weeks of a broken site cost more than the discount saves.
  • You are in the UK. The last two UK Black Friday prices matched today's normal first-year prices, so there may be nothing to gain by waiting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does SiteGround have a Black Friday sale?

Yes, every year. In 2023, 2024 and 2025 SiteGround advertised first-year discounts of 85% to 88%. In the US that meant lower prices than usual. In the UK, the Black Friday prices matched the normal first-year prices. As of 1 October 2026 the 2026 sale has not been announced.

What was SiteGround's Black Friday deal in 2025?

In the US, StartUp was $1.99 a month (88% off), GrowBig $3.99 and GoGeek $5.99 (86% off), for the first 12 months paid up front. It ran through November and finished in early December.

When does the SiteGround Black Friday sale start?

It has varied. In 2023 an early deal was live by 6 November. In 2024 it ran from around 23 November to 3 December. In 2025 it ran from early November to early December.

Does the Black Friday price last after the first year?

No. The discount is on your first term only. After that the plan renews at SiteGround's normal price, the same as it would without the sale.

Which SiteGround plan is best to buy at Black Friday?

GrowBig, for most businesses. The Black Friday saving is biggest in pounds and dollars on the bigger plans, and GrowBig gives you unlimited sites and staging, which you will want long after the sale ends.

Can existing SiteGround customers get the Black Friday price?

SiteGround's introductory prices are for new hosting accounts. Existing customers should check the terms when the sale launches.
