Status on 1 October 2026: not announced yet
WPX has not announced its 2026 Black Friday deal. Going by the last three years, expect it some time in November. We will update this page as soon as it is live, with the exact offer and the dates.
WPX is not a host that discounts often. Its normal prices are its prices, and the main way to pay less is to pay further ahead. That makes Black Friday the one time of year when the deal is noticeably better than usual.
What WPX Offered at Black Friday Before
These figures come from WPX's own Black Friday terms pages for each year. The deal has always been extra free months, not a percentage off.
| Plan length | Normal | BF 2023 | BF 2024 | BF 2025 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 year | 2 months free | 4 months free | 4 months free | 4 months free |
| 2 years | 5 months free | 6 months free | 8 months free | 6 months free |
| 3 years | 11 months free | 9 months free | 11 months free | 12 months free |
| 4 years | 15 months free | — | — | 18 months free |
| 5 years | 20 months free | — | — | 24 months free |
"Normal" is what WPX offers today, outside any sale. A dash means that term was not part of the deal that year. In 2025, monthly plans also had a discount on the first month only.
What That Means in Plain Numbers
The one-year deal is the one that stands out. Normally a year paid up front gets you 14 months for the price of 12. At Black Friday it has been 16 months for the price of 12.
On the Business plan ($299.90 for a year), that works out to about $18.74 a month over 16 months, against $21.42 over 14 months the rest of the year. On longer terms the Black Friday gain has been smaller, and in some years the normal offer was as good or better.
When the Sale Has Run
- 2023: 6 November to 4 December. Existing customers first; new customers from 20 November.
- 2024: 4 November to 9 December. Existing customers first; open to everyone from 25 November.
- 2025: 24 November to 8 December. New customers only.
So it has not always been the week of Black Friday itself. It has started as early as the first week of November, and it has run into early December.
The Small Print Worth Knowing
- The free months come at the end. In 2024 WPX's terms put the free months after the paid ones. You pay the full term up front either way.
- Refund terms can change. WPX's normal 30-day money-back guarantee applies, but its refund policy says terms may be modified during promotional campaigns. Read that year's terms before you pay.
- After the term, normal prices. WPX's Black Friday terms say plans renew at the regular price, not a higher one.
- Pay on time. Each year had a payment deadline a week or so after the sale ended. Unpaid orders were cancelled.

Should You Wait for Black Friday?
Wait if:
- Your current hosting is fine and you are planning ahead.
- You want a one-year plan. That is where Black Friday has made the biggest difference.
- Your current plan renews after December anyway.
Do not wait if:
- Your site is slow, down, or has been hacked. Every week on bad hosting costs you visitors and enquiries. Two extra free months are not worth two months of that.
- Your current host renews before the sale. Renewing at a full price to save a few dollars at WPX is a false economy.
- You want a three to five year plan. WPX's normal long-term offer is already strong, and in some years it matched or beat the Black Friday one.
